A delightful Art Deco period Roskyl Pottery jug, made in England and dating to the 1930s. This attractive piece features a softly rounded form, elegant loop handle and pouring lip, all decorated with bright stylised floral sprays in pink, blue, yellow, green and lilac against a cream ground.

The jug has a wonderful interwar character, the shape is distinctly Art Deco, while the richly patterned floral decoration keeps the warmth and charm of British domestic pottery from the period.

It displays beautifully in a cottage kitchen, country house interior, dresser arrangement or vintage shelf display, and also works well as a small decorative vase.
